I just found out my niece and two nephews of mine went on a spiritual camp so I was asked by my sister to write each one of them a letter in case they feel homesick.
Here they are:

Joven, I just got a message from your aunt that you are camping right now with your cousins, the J-R´s.
I am very happy and proud to see that you have grown into a fine young man who is leading a good example to all the little ones following you.
“Learn and teach them to be happy with what you have; there’s someone in the world without it.”
Stand right by your mother, the only woman whose genuine love will never wither. Grow, run, fly, reach out and fight and accomplish all your dreams. Work arduously fiercely, live a life based upon the ethics, principles, respect, responsibility and honesty you have been taught, and someday every single effort will have been worth it.
Know that I love you and you can always count on me and all your aunts and uncles.
" Life is a series of journeys. Enjoying the time when you reach the destination is easy. Enjoying the journeys in themselves is the difficult part, but also the most rewarding part. The ability to sit back and enjoy the ride is the key to happiness through the teenage years."

You are blossoming into a beautiful young girl, I am very proud to be your aunt. My heart lies at peace to know that your mother has taught you to go through the least trodden road filled with morals, values and faith.
You are beginning to follow the least trodden road. Never give up following your dreams and never forsake your roots and principles with which you were brought up since the beginning.
As you grow up, learn to cherish the young woman you will turn to and never settle for less…
The beauty of a girl cannot be mimicked, fabricated, or created by human means, it only occurs naturally.

Sweetie, have a great time camping with your cousins. Learn and discover new things. Ask your mentors how to be a better boy and how to listen to your parents more without complaining as they are the pillar of your home and they love you.
When you’re back home do everything to make them happy. Listen and accept without complaining. But more important than anything, count your blessings and be very grateful for having such wonderful parents that give you all their love.

I love you
Aunt Georgie
