Many people experience
isolation from time to time when they are subject to emotional, physical,
spiritual or financial hardship. I have personally encountered withdrawal from
the entire universe. That is only a temporary feeling because believe it or
not, just as much as there is good, there is evil, ups and downs, light and
darkness, black and white. There are many compassionate souls that long to make
a beneficial change in our planet by helping others. It is always comforting to
know that someone out there has your back! However, at the end of the day, the
minute each human being comes to this world, they are by oneself, even twins
are born within minutes or seconds apart.
That is why it is our
utmost duty to thrive against all odds, even when it feels as if we were alone
in this world. When we are younger we spend time with our friends and family,
but as we evolve into adults, our direction is geared towards our own faith,
beliefs, family, work, profession, health and aging. In other words, finding
balance in life. It is NOT easy, BUT it is not impossible either.
Some choose to procreate,
others predestine themselves to their professional and financial future and to
get to know the world. Others don´t appreciate the endowment of life and choose
to incline towards what´s “easier” and “faster.” Each decision is just as
crucial as the other. There is predetermination whether it is for good or bad.
Some thrive, others set themselves up for failure. Some take care of their
health, others decide to treat their temples like a trash bin. Some choose to
walk the less traveled road, others, take a short cut. Some choose to fight and
find answers, others choose to stand by and waste every opportunity they are
given. Some hold on to faith, others to evil. Some appreciate life and make the
best with it, others are oblivious of reality that life dwindles out at the
blink of an eye!
Any journey of
choice, we must own our individuality and accept that each one of us is a Lone Wolf, therefore, we
must abide by the consequences determined by our actions. That nevertheless, is
in any means catastrophic. The consequences are nothing but a mirror of life’s
decisions we make. On account of the former facts of existence, long ago I
chose Robert Frost’s
Road NOT Taken, even if sometimes I have felt like giving up.
Every day I choose to be
The protagonist of my own
movie.
The author and main
character of my own book.
The composer of my own
song.
The artist of my own work
of art.
The creator of my own
invention.
The dictator of my own
destiny.
The architect of my own
design.
The judge that dictates my
own sentence.
The rat that runs its own
race.
The warden of my temple.
The woman that fights for
her own rights and ideals set by my faith.
The human that longs for
equality and peace.
The Lone Wolf who
fights the world with her own sword and shield.
