A Catalyst of the Truth

Be a Catalyst of the Truth

June 18, 2025

In a world clouded by half-truths, filtered realities, and echo chambers, being honest isn’t always easy. But being a catalyst of the truth—that’s a calling. It means more than just speaking facts. It means standing in integrity when it’s inconvenient. It means disrupting comfort to reveal clarity. It means asking the hard questions when everyone else is silent.

The truth doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it whispers. Sometimes it costs. But when you choose to be a catalyst, you choose to wake people up, shake foundations, and ignite change.

Don't wait for truth to surface. Be the force that brings it forward. With courage. With purpose. With fire.

The world doesn’t need more noise.
It needs more truth.
And it needs more people brave enough to deliver it.

A Catalyst of the Truth — Spirit-Led, Scripture-Firm

In a world where many prefer their own opinions over understanding (Proverbs 18:2), being a catalyst of the truthmeans standing apart. It means refusing to echo the noise of fools, who like dogs, return to their own folly (Proverbs 26:11), circling lies with prideful hearts.

We are not called to blend in with deception—we are called to expose it.

The Spirit of God does not stir up anger or pride. He reminds us, “Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools” (Ecclesiastes 7:9). Yet, many speak with poisoned lips and hidden venom, “their tongues as sharp as serpents’”— voices shaped not by heaven, but by hate (Psalm 140:3).

To be a catalyst of the truth is to listen before speaking, to walk humbly before the Lord, and to reject the path of those who twist words and love darkness. “Fools’ lips walk into strife, and their mouths invite a beating. Their mouths are their ruin” (Proverbs 18:6–7).

Many today—proud and arrogant—have no room for God in their thoughts (Psalm 10:4). They suppress the truth to preserve the lie, but we must not follow. For the wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies (Psalm 58:3). Their ears are closed to wisdom, “like a deaf adder that refuses to hear the voice of charmers” (Psalm 58:4–5).

So, what do we do?

We anchor ourselves in the Word. We seek understanding, not applause. We carry truth not as a weapon of pride, but as a light in the dark. We speak because the Spirit compels us—not to win arguments, but to win hearts.

This calling is not always safe. But it is sacred.

Be bold. Be discerning. Be humble.
Be a catalyst of the truth.

The Butterfly Within

The Butterfly Within

Through Every Stage, She Rises

June 11, 2025

From Chrysalis to Wings: The Evolution of a Woman

Success rarely happens overnight—and for women, it’s almost never a straight line. Our growth comes in stages, each one demanding something different: strength, surrender, courage, patience. And much like the butterfly, a woman’s transformation is powerful precisely because of the quiet work that happens in between.

The Egg: The Spark of Possibility
Every woman begins with a spark. A vision, a passion, a gut feeling that there is more out there. In our early years—personally or professionally—we are filled with questions and ideas. It's not about having all the answers, but about allowing ourselves to begin.

The Caterpillar: Building and Becoming
This is the hustle phase. The season of learning, stretching, growing, and sometimes grinding. It's where we take in knowledge, form relationships, gather tools. We are hungry for progress, but often unaware of the bigger transformation brewing inside. It’s growth, but not yet flight.

The Chrysalis: The Necessary Pause
Then comes a moment—often unexpected—where everything slows down or even falls apart. A career pivot, a life change, a quiet burnout. These seasons can feel like failure, but they are not. They are chrysalis moments: necessary, sacred, and deeply transformative. Here, we’re not losing ourselves—we’re remaking ourselves.

The Butterfly: Rising in Full Color
And then we emerge. Changed. Empowered. We’ve learned to trust ourselves. We speak more boldly, lead more freely, and live more authentically. The wings we once dreamed of? They’re ours now. Not because someone gave them to us—but because we grew them.

Every stage has value. Every version of you along the way was part of the becoming.

So if you find yourself in a moment of transition, uncertainty, or even stillness—remember: the butterfly doesn’t rush. Transformation takes time. And you, powerful woman, are right on time

The Soft Dying of Letting Go and Becoming

A Woman Walks Through the Valley of Death...

Through the Gift, Joy, Blessing and Privilege of Creation

May 30, 2025

In the quiet, hidden corners of the world, a caterpillar weaves itself into stillness. It wraps its soft body in silk and shadow, surrendering to transformation. This moment—the becoming of a chrysalis—is not loud or dramatic. It is humble, almost invisible. But inside, everything is changing. Cells dissolve. Old shapes are lost. It is a kind of dying. A kind of trust. The caterpillar must believe, without evidence, that on the other side of this undoing, something beautiful awaits.

Motherhood is its own chrysalis.

The woman who once stood whole must surrender to the slow undoing of self. Her identity stretches, blurs. Her body becomes both shelter and forge. Like the caterpillar, she begins to dissolve—ambitions paused, freedom curtailed, her very sense of time and space given over to something utterly dependent and unknowable. There is no manual for this kind of surrender. No map. Only instinct, and love.

There is grief in this becoming. A private, aching grief that no one warns you about. The grief of vanishing—of watching your name, your silence, your sleep, your solitude, drift from your grasp like threads in water. And yet, from that dissolution, something new begins to stir.

Catharsis arrives in unexpected moments: a baby's hand curling around a finger, a quiet breath against her collarbone in the deep of night, the way laughter returns like a bird to a long-abandoned branch. These moments do not erase the pain or the loss—but they illuminate it. They make it holy.

And then, one day, she watches the child take their first step away. Their small back turns, arms outstretched to a world larger than either of them. And she realizes the wings were never just the child’s—they were hers, too. She was not only the cocoon, but the sky.

The metamorphosis was always mutual.

She did not lose herself in becoming a mother—she shed what was no longer needed. And what emerged, trembling but radiant, was something stronger. Not less. Not broken. But changed. Wings patterned with sacrifice and starlight.

In the hush after flight, she stands alone in the golden light, not empty, but full—of stories, of scars, of soft and terrible grace. The cocoon is behind her. The sky is ahead.

Writing Myself Into Existence - My Journey Through Writing

 May 30, 2025

Writing Is More Than a Skill—It's a Lifeline

After a profound shift in my life, I now wake each day to a new and promising horizon.  Since I came to this unknown place, I've lost myself somewhere along the line. In this here and now, a revolution has unfolded and I've felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times.

Since this seismic change occurred, I have come to the realization that I've been craving my ABC's. One of my fundamental ABC's is writing so I quickly wanted to manifest what came to my mind.

"I’ve come to see writing not just as a skill, but as a tool—one of the most powerful tools we have. It’s a means of empowerment, a voice when silence feels safer. It’s how we tell the world who we are, what we believe, and why we matter.

Writing gives shape to our thoughts, dignity to our struggles, and direction to our dreams. In the academic world, it opens doors—papers, scholarships, degrees—but its reach goes so much further. Writing helps us reclaim our narratives, advocate for change, and connect across differences.

When we write, we don't just communicate. We take up space. We say: I am here. I have something to say. And my voice counts.

So no, I don’t just teach writing or practice it as a craft. I see it as a form of freedom. A form of healing. A way forward.

And I believe everyone deserves access to that power."

In the Midst of Darkness I learned that...

May 21, 2025

"In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that…
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back."

Education is health to the mind

Education is health to the mind

Education is the cornerstone of progress, the catalyst for change, and the gateway to opportunity. It empowers individuals, transforms societies, and shapes the future of our world. At its core, education is not just about acquiring knowledge; it's about fostering critical thinking, nurturing creativity, and instilling values that guide us through life's complexities.

In today's rapidly evolving global landscape, the importance of education cannot be overstated. It equips individuals with the skills they need to navigate a world increasingly driven by technology and innovation. From mastering the fundamentals or reading and mathematics to embracing the complexities of science and humanities, education opens doors to endless possibilities.

Beyond personal growth, education plays a pivotal role in promoting social cohesion and economic development. It empowers marginalized communities, breaks the cycle of poverty, and fosters inclusive societies where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. Education is not just a privilege; it's a fundamental human right that should be accessible to all, regardless of background or circumstance.

Moreover, education serves as a bulwark against ignorance, prejudice, and intolerance. By promoting understanding, empathy and respect for diversity, it lays the foundation of a more just and harmonious world. In an age where misinformation spreads like wildfire and polarization threatens to tear societies apart, education serves as a beacon of enlightenment and reason.

As we look to the future, the importance of education will only continue to grow. It will be the key to addressing pressing global challenges, from climate change and poverty to inequality and conflict; it's an investment in the collective well-being of humanity.

To conclude, education is no t merely a means to an end; it's a journey of self-discovery, a path to empowerment, and a force for positive change. It is the foundation upon which we build our dreams, shape our destinies, and strive for a better tomorrow. Embracing the transformative power of education is essential if we are to create a world where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential and contribute to the common good.
