Frog juice

In March
Park Ji-sung a 31 year-old South
Korean footballer stirred controversy due to the rapid increase in frog deaths
in South Korea.
A group of environmental
protection pleaded the Manchester United player to put a halt to his habit of
drinking frog juice instead to protect them.
Park Ji-sung’s biography claimed
that he was given frog juice by his father to increase his performance in the
football field.
Professional athletes and
celebrities find numerous ways to stay young and healthy but at what expense?
Animals have to pay the price of their beauty.
Frog juice is said to have
incredible properties such as, the cure of bronchitis, asthma, it gives
strength and endurance, it is aphrodisiac, increasing sex-drive, it cures
epilepsy, rheumatism and Prostatitis (prostrate cancer). In addition to this,
it can also cure bone, blood and muscle illnesses. There was a case in Bolivia where a
terminally ill man consumed frog juice for two years and he was able to recover
his mind and vision and he was revived.
In many Latin American
countries and cities like El Alto Bolivia, a city 4-010 meters above sea
level, terminal illness cancer is fought using frog juice. More people are
starting to consume this miraculous drink claiming that it is legal. I wonder
if they realize that frogs are hunted and tortured indiscriminately.
I’ve had grapefruit, cactus
and Aloe Vera juice, and my green energizer when I am running low; a mix of
tomato, celery, spinach and cucumber made in the blender otherwise it loses all
its properties. Coconut water, Jamaica, orchata, but frog juice never came to
my mind. I am sure I wouldn’t try it but “Never say never!”
There’s no doubt that beauty
has a price!
